Predslavynska gymnasia 56, Pechersky district, Kyiv is a modern innovative profile-oriented educational establishment known for its traditions inteacheing and upbringing, develops and refines the abilities, inclinations, creativity, raises leaders.

The gymnasia priorities are modern educational technologies; specialized teching of foreign languages: the languages of teaching are Ukrainian, English (since the 1st form), German (since the 5th form), Spanish or French by choice (since the 8th form); the personality-oriented teaching and upbringing; international contacts (participation in the programmes of cooperation with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Spain. Japan, the Check Republic in Ukraine, British Council, The Education Scotland Agency of the Scottish Government, programmes of the physical development; modern material basis; profile teaching of the the 9th-11th form students.

The students of the Gimnasia have all the opportunities to implement their abilities and creative inclinations: Subjects and Art circles, individual consultations, master classes, thematic excursions, participation in creative competitions in different subjects at different levels, writing scientific papers for the Junior Academy of Sciences guided by the teachers-methodists and scholars of the leading educational establishments of the capital, language practice in foreign educational establishments. The students of the Gimnasia are active members and winners of the district and the city competitions in different subjects, competitions and the defense of their scientific papers at the Junior Academy of Sciences sittings and intellectual tournaments.

Our gymnasia was awarded with the Honor Diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Diploma of the Supreme Council of Ukraine, Acknowledgements of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. According to the 2006 State Certification the gymnasia was given an excellent mark. Since 2003 the gymnasia has been a permanent member and a winner of the exhibitions-presentations “Modern Education” in Ukraine and “innovations in the Education of Ukraine”.
